We\u2019re very excited to offer a new, Canadian-made CA glue to our loyal customers! C-BOND<\/a> is a general purpose instant\/cyanoacrylate glue used to bond rubber, metal, plastics and wood, and is made in thick<\/a>, thin<\/a>, or EXTRA thin<\/a> viscosities. If you\u2019re looking to glue a pen tube into a pen blank, C-BOND Thick will easily fill any gaps between your tube and the inside of your pen blank for a secure hold. If you\u2019re looking to harden a softer wood you\u2019re having trouble working with, C-BOND Extra Thin will penetrate the wood evenly and make your blank easier to turn as well as provide a durable finish (and our favorite product use for a CA finish). All viscosities come in 120g, 60g and 30g- a size unique to the C-BOND brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. New Stabilized Wood Pen Blanks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have expanded our Stabilized Box Elder Burl<\/a> and Stabilized Curly Maple<\/a> pen blank collections to include 4 more beautiful blank styles. You can now purchase both exotic wood pen blanks in \u201cMauve\u201d<\/a>, \u201cPurple Haze\u201d<\/a>, \u201cRed Wine<\/a>\u201d, and \u201cScarlet Fire\u201d<\/a>! As always, Stabilized Box Elder Burl and Curly Maple are easy to drill and turn, making them excellent for turners at any skill level, so it’s even easier to find the perfect pen turning supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Cactus Juice Dye for Stabilizing Pen Blanks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Trying your hand at stabilizing your own pen turning blanks? We now offer Cactus Juice Stabilizing Dye in the colours mentioned above, \u201cMellow Mauve<\/a>\u201d, \u201cPurple Haze<\/a>\u201d, \u201cRed Wine<\/a>\u201d and \u201cScarlet Fire<\/a>\u201d! Cactus Juice dyes are meant to be used with Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin, and WILL NOT work with casting resin products. These 100% liquid dyes will not settle over time, and will help you achieve really brightly coloured blanks to add to your arsenal. 4. C-COAT – Made in Canada Two-Part Epoxy Coating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Made by CEC-CORP, the company that also manufactures C-BOND CA glue, C-COAT<\/a> is a two-part crystal clear epoxy coating perfect for woodworking projects such as coating bar and tabletops, plaques, photographs, certificates, diplomas, and clocks! C-COAT is a low-viscosity, clear epoxy system designed to create a high-gloss, clear decorative coating for horizontal surfaces. C-COAT is also water-resistant, blush-free, pourable, self-leveling, non-yellowing, UV-resistant, heat and alcohol resistant, Nonyl Phenol and Benzyl Alcohol-Free, and Low odor. You can pick it up in either 8.5oz<\/a> or 32oz<\/a> depending on your project size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Silicone Casting Molds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are very excited to announce that we now offer silicone pen blank casting molds in various shapes and sizes for you to create your own custom pen blanks! Choose from two and four blank molds that will allow you to create 7\/8\u201dx5-1\/4\u201d pen blanks, as well as a block mold that will allow you to create a 6\u201dx5-1\/4\u201dx1\u201d project block that can be cut into individual, custom-sized pen blanks or other turning projects like ring blanks or knife scales for knife wood working. These molds cast Polyester, Urethane and Epoxy Resin. Working with pen blank casting supplies for the first time? We recommend trying JB Royal Thin epoxy<\/a> casting resin. You won’t regret adding these to your line-up of pen making tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
