Premium pen mill shaft by Planet Plus precision-made in the UK. Also called a barrel trimmer or pilot shaft. 8.68 mm shaft to fit 3/8 pen tubes.
An extremely useful tool used to square up the ends of your pen blanks after the brass tubes have been glued inside the pen blank. The long rod fits inside the tube (which acts as a support and guide) and allows you to cut away excess wood until you reach the edge of the brass pen tube.
Shaft requires Planet Plus 1" (25 mm) cutter head PBT25 or a PREM-PNML-3/4 premium cutter head (sold separately).
