What tooling do I need to make this kit?

To make this kit, you will need the following items (all sold separately):

• 8 mm drill bit
• 8 mm pen mill shaft
• Bushing set 95A
• Pen mandrel A / 7 mm

This is a woodworking turning project that requires drilling, turning, sanding, finishing and assembly using standard woodworking tools and equipment. You are purchasing the kit components, not a finished pen.

What size pen blank do I need?

This kit requires a pen blank measuring at least 3/4" square × 5" long (19 mm × 19 mm × 127 mm). The pen shown is turned from Bethlehem Olivewood. Blank sold separately.

What refill does this pen use?

A Schmidt rollerball refill is included with the kit. Schmidt 888 rollerball refills, Beaufort premium rollerball refills and Pentel EnerGel liquid gel rollerball refills are all compatible with this kit. Pentel EnerGel refills are a great option if you're looking for a wider selection of ink colours.
