Made in USA liquor bottle stopper kit. Requires bottle stopper mandrel (not included). Please note: you will require a Jacobs chuck or drill chuck for your lathe in order to make this kit. Recommended blank size 1-1/2" square by 2-1/2" long.
Made from solid stainless, this stopper has a 3/8" -16 tpi threaded stud that is 1/2” long. It is not removable as it is machined in one piece. Overall length is 1-3/4” long less the threaded stud. The liquor stopper fits many different liquors including bourbon and whiskey. Please note that this does not fit 100% of bottles, but it will fit about 95%.
This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished item.
Try our bottle stopper inserts to make a bottle stopper project even easier (see related products tab for link)! Simply drill a 33/64" hole 13.2 mm / .52" deep into your blank and glue the insert in. You're ready to mount your project onto bottle stopper mandrel. Makes it easy to thread bottle stopper top on and off. In place of the insert, you can also use the bottlestopper drill and tap set to make and thread the hole.
