We, here at William Wood-Write are very excited to announce that we now offer monthly Woodturner’s Subscription Boxes for our loyal customers! Our subscription boxes are a monthly surprise chocked full of popular products, upgraded blanks and top-selling accessories we know you’ll love.
No matter which you choose, you’ll receive free shipping on your box right to your door- every month!
There are two variations of our new monthly subscription box:
The Monthly Subscription Box includes a surprise combination of at least one pen blank, project kit and set of bushings, and as a subscriber, you’ll receive a complimentary monthly special!
While the items in your box will change month-to-month, your Monthly Subscription Box will always has a guaranteed minimum value of $49.99.
If you opt for our Premium Monthly Subscription Box you’ll receive a minimum of one each of pen blanks, pen kits, project kits and bushing sets from an upgraded selection, along with high end accessories. As a subscriber of our Premium Monthly box, you’ll receive our Monthly Special FREE!
The Premium Monthly Subscription Box has a guaranteed minimum value of $79.99.

Q: How do I subscribe?
In order to start receiving monthly subscription boxes from William Wood-Write, just add the box to your cart! Free shipping will automatically apply right in the cart. After you’ve purchased your first box, we will automatically send you an invoice at the beginning of the month and ship out your box- no action needed!
Q: What if I order the box in the middle of the month?
If you purchase your box mid-month, it will be shipped out immediately! From there, your subscription boxes and order invoices will come at the beginning of each month.
Q: Can I choose the items in the box?
No, each month is a curated selection of assorted turning kits & accessories – but we guarantee there will be a pen kit, project kit, pen blank, bushings & more in every box- and we promise you’ll love it!
Q: Can I switch my box from $49.99 to $79.99 or vice versa?
Yes! You can switch your box from a Subscription Box to a Premium Subscription Box month-to-month, if you’d like. Just make sure you email us before the first of the month to ensure billing is done correctly!
Q: How do I do add-ons?
At the beginning of the month we will send you an invoice with your subscription box charge along with a message prompt, asking if you’d like to add-on to this box.
You have a chance to reply to this email while your order is processing to add on products without any additional shipping charge, and you’ll typically have 24 hours to respond. This way you can save on shipping charges for something you may have ordered in the future.
Q: How does payment work?
We will keep your credit card information on file and automatically charge your card as close to the first of the month as possible, every month, that you remain subscribed.
Your box will ship out on the first, or on the following Monday if the first of the month lands on a weekend. You will receive an invoice before your subscription box is shipped out.
Q: Is tooling included?
All required bushings will be included in your box, but tooling such as drills, forstner bits and pen mills are excluded.

Q: Is shipping free every month?
Yes! Shipping is free every month on your subscription box and add-ons. Orders placed separately throughout the month are subject to our flat rate shipping charge– but don’t forget, you can add on to your box as long as you reach out before it’s shipped.
Q: Can it be cancelled at any time?
Yes! You can cancel at anytime without a charge, just send us an email or give us a call!
Q: Are there other subscriber perks?
When you subscribe to either of our monthly subscription boxes, you will receive free shipping on every box, plus our monthly special will be included with every box as a bonus!
Q: Can I know what’s in the box?
No, but you can take a look at the product photos, shown below – which are very comparable to the boxes you will receive. We will add each months photo after the month is up to show examples of past boxes on the product page.
Q: Can I return items from my box?
No, none of the products in your subscription box can be returned for a refund or exchange- but if you have any questions about your products, send us an email or give us as call.
Q: What are some examples of materials that will be included in the boxes?
While we cannot disclose exactly what is in each month’s subscription box prior to purchasing, but we can certainly give you an idea of what you will be receiving in your subscription box each month.
Every subscription box, regular and Premium, is guaranteed to include one each of the following products, all available in-store at William Wood-Write or online at penblanks.ca:

While we cannot make a guarantee on which of each product you will receive, or how many of each, we can guarantee that each subscription box will include products totaling a value of either $49.99 or $79.99, depending on which subscription box you’ve subscribed to.
Q: What if I want a previous month’s box?
If we have stock available, just send us an email and we will invoice you for a past box!
Q: Can I buy just one box?
No, once you purchase your first box, you will be shipped a curated box each month- but you can cancel via email or phone at any time.
